A haven of peace and comfort, at the heart of the Dordogne region, near Sarlat

A beautifully restored medieval village house, with character features at every turn - quietly situated on a cobbled footpath leading up to the ancient church Square, and with 'residents only' parking only 50 paces away. The village has two restaurants, a village shop and bakery, and an épicerie - even a small market on Thursdays.

The cosy Salon is on the 1st floor, approached by a stone staircase showing the steady wear of centuries - with a south-facing French glazed door opening directly onto a small sunny balcony, with steps down to the pathway. The spacious high-ceilinged double Bedroom is on the floor above, with it's adjoining luxury Bathroom.

The top floor is a lofty, sunny Studio Bedroom, with double bed.

The Kitchen/Dining Room is at street level, fitted with craftsman-made solid wood units, including an inset copper sink from the studio of a Parisian master artisan. A dishwasher, gas hobs, and electric oven are included - and stone steps go up to the inner Hallway and a Laundry Room with fridge/freezer, and washing machine.

Benefits include wi-fi internet, all UK TV and Radio channels by satellite, and unlimited phonecalls to landlines worldwide (not mobiles, sorry!).

Parking is situated only 50 yards away - in a 'Residents Only' parking place alongside the village pond [see photo above]
